During the Iraqi war Salam Pax attracted plenty of interest from the blogging world (and print media) due to him writing his account of the war from Baghdad. There were plenty of sceptics who doubted his very existence but a recent post from Joi Ito should put all that to rest. In short, Salam has just been hired to write for the Guardian.
