I've always been skeptical about sending error reports, I'm unsure as to why, but I believe I've never sent a crash report.

Until today.

I just rebuilt my work notebook and upon applying XP Service Pack 2 I was greeted with a "Generic Host Process" error. On the dialog box I hit the send to Microsoft button and after some disc churning IE started to load a Microsoft Support page with a hotfix to solve the problem. Download, install, reboot, and all is good again. This thing really works!
