As is quite usually the case before a new model launch, Apple has reduced the price of its PowerBooks. The 17" model that is now AUD$3,999 whilst getting a HDD upgrade from 100Gb to 120Gb. The screen now has a resolution of 1680 x 1050 which has been upped from 1440 x 960. I wonder if its possible to upgrade the screens? Every pixel counts :)

The 15.2 inch model gets the hand-me-down screen resolution of 1440x960 from its bigger brother.
