Probably the most interesting point of this movie is that it is based on true events. As with the real 1605 event the film too sends a strong message accompanied by current world events (avian flu, terrorism, etc.).

For some reason I thought that it was Tarantino who produced V for Vandetta. All throughout the movie I found some subtle resemblances to The Matrix, but put dissmissed them as coincedence. Not until the ending credits were displayed did I see that it was actually by the Wachowski brothers.

The only people who probably won't see this film would be the politicians. I'll probably buy it when it comes out on DVD.
