Kathy Sierra, of Creating Passionate Users fame, has been receiving death threats, and pretty ugly ones at that. Right now she's cancelled her speaking engagements and has not ventured outside. Reposting my comment from her weblog:
Hi Kathy,
Long time reader, first time poster. I really hope that the police get to the bottom of this and prosecute those found guilty. People can stoop so low, be so unkind, it really does make you wonder. Hope that you get over this and will return to your old self once again.
I've learnt much from Kathy's writings, and the least that I could do is to let it be known that she's not alone!
