So, Google Reader today is no more. There were protests, screams, but come July 1st, 2013 Google closed down the service as intended.

There is Feedly, which is where I've migrated my OPML list to. As pretty as it is, it appears to be having some teething problems, most notably it's not marking any of my items as read.

Life goes on, but I now have several apps on differing platforms all broken, most going their separate way in terms of synching and organising. The greatest value of Google Reader was not the site itself but the sync services it provided.
